Saviolo Publisher presented the World Premiere of  Modern Custom  Knives The Great Collections  in the USA at the 2007 BLADE Show held in Atlanta, Georgia this past June.  Published in Limited Edition, this book is still available for purchase at only $65 plus shipping and handling.

Offered exclusively by Saviolo Publisher in a Limited Edition of 1250 copies, this is the fourth volume in an original series on the art of contemporary custom knives by author David Darom. Exhibited here for the first time are highlights from major private art knife collections from Europe  and the USA . Over 650 high-end art knife treasures, of which many have never before been photographed, are displayed in the exciting visual design-concept created by Dr. David Darom especially for these books. Original introduction articles and detailed descriptions for each one-of-a-kind knife make this a valuable volume for all art lovers.

The original photography by Eric Eggly (PointSeven) in the USA and Francesco Pachi in Europe was made according to Dr. Darom’s exacting specifications, using the 22MP and 39 MP Phase-One digital cameras. The  exquisite visual reproductions  found in this book will mirror the excellence of design of the preceeding books by Saviolo Publisher , “Art and Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives” and “Art and Design in Modern Custom Fixed-Blade Knives”.
